Hosted by China's Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Shanghai Services Federation Cruise Economy Services Committee, China Cruise Ship Design Alliance, supported by China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai International Cruise Business Institute and etc., The 4th China International Cruise Ship-building Forum and Exhibition has been successfully held in Shanghai Mart Expo on October 20-22, 2020, co-located with China Cruise Ship Supporting and Epidemic Prevention Products Exhibition. China International Cruise Shipbuilding Forum & Exhibition has been successfully held three editions before. With the theme of "Accelerating the localization of cruise ship construction and promoting the high-quality development of the entire cruise industry chain after the epidemic", this year’s forum and exhibition brought together shipbuilders and repairers, cruise lines and shipowners, designers, cruise interior and construction companies, cruise ship supporting and epidemic prevention companies, classification societies, ship academies and other cruise ship construction and design supporting related units, to build an authoritative exchange and cooperation platform for the Asian cruise shipbuilding industry, to jointly promote the high-quality development of the entire cruise industry chain in China.

During the exhibition, opening ceremony and a series of industry forums has been held including: cruise ship construction session, cruise ship design session, international classification societies session, cruise vessels renovation and maintenance technologies session, cruise epidemic prevention technologies session, cruise manufacturing supply chain session, focusing on industry hot spots through brainstorming and industry analysis. During this event, activities such as the Unveiling Ceremony of the China Cruise Ship Design Alliance Nordic Cross-border E-commerce Import and Export Platform and Acousto-optic Video Committee, Council Meeting of China Cruise Ship Design Alliance, Awarding Ceremony Cruise Ship Design & Supporting Contribution were also held.Promoted by the Shanghai Services Federation Cruise Economy Services Committee and China Cruise Ship Design Alliance, China’s first anti-epidemic safe cabin made its debut at the exhibition.
